At Villa Makex the safety and health of our guests is our priority.
We clean and sanitized our cottages and common areas according to regulations set by the government of the state of Quintana Roo as well as our own high standards.

Minimum 1-day vacancy between guest stays
Check in and check out with no person-to-person contact
Maid service every 3-4 days
Enhanced cleaning practices including:
– High-touch surfaces cleaned with disinfectant (like countertops, light switches, handles, and faucets)
– All towels and bedding washed in hot water that’s at least 60ºC/140ºF

50% deposit required to confirm reservation with remaining 50% to be paid within 30 days before arrival date.

A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations that are more than sixty (60) days prior to arrival date will result in a refund of monies collected less 30% handling fee.

Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within sixty (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the advance payment with no refunds of monies paid.

Early departure does not warrant any refund of monies paid.

Any reservation that is between December 20 and January 3 requires a ninety (90) day notice to cancel in order to obtain the refund of the advance payment less 30% handling fee.

Cancellations that are made within ninety (90) days of the arrival date, forfeit the advance payment with no refunds of monies paid.

Reschedule Policy: When cancelling with a sixty (60) day notice. The deposit provided will be kept in an escrow account that can be used towards a new reservation made within 6 months from cancelling and completing travel within a year. Reservations not rescheduled within 6 months will forfeit all funds.
